VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - USA Field Hockey is excited to announce the athletes who have been selected to compete in the 2026 Junior Nexus Championship, presented by Osaka Hockey, that will take place this July in Virginia Beach, Va. This selection marks the completion of the Regional Selection Camp sessions and the next step in the Olympic Development Pathway and tryout process for the Junior U.S. Women's National Teams.
The Junior NXC will take place July 9 through July 19 at the Virginia Beach Regional Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va. At the conclusion of the Junior NXC, top performing athletes in qualifying age groups will be invited to additional Junior U.S. National Team camps and training opportunities.
USA Field Hockey would like to thank and congratulate the thousands of athletes and coaches from across the country who worked, trained, and competed in the 2026 Nexus and Junior National Team programming.
The players who have been selected will receive an email within the next 24 hours with registration details and the athlete packet. As a reminder, Sport:80 is the member management system for USA Field Hockey. All email correspondence comes from this platform, so please adjust your spam filters to receive important details around selections.
If an invited player is unable to attend, alternates are listed below and will be notified by phone if a roster position opens in their respective age group.
Selections for the Senior Nexus Championship will be announced following the conclusion of all High Performance Center training opportunities. Additional members of the 2025 Junior U.S. Women's National Teams will compete in the Senior Nexus Championship and will be announced with those selections.
Players who are listed on the U-16 and U-18 alternate lists will be invited to the AAU Junior Olympic Games, held in Iowa City, Iowa from August 2 to 4, 2026. If a U-16 or U-18 Alternate player is called up to participate in Nexus Championship, they will not participate in the Junior Olympic Games, and a Junior Olympic Games alternate will be notified. The press release for Junior Olympic Games advancements for U-16 and U-18 players will be shared the week of June 22.
The deadline to register for 2026 Nexus Championship is Friday June 19 at 11:59 p.m. ET. If you are not able to attend, please decline your invitation so that an alternate may be called.

There will be four Junior High Performance waivers granted to participate in the Junior Nexus Championship: Anna Druhot (Midlothian, Va.) (U-18), Raya McHenry (Ashburn, Va.) (U-21), Mary Olivetti (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) (U-18) and Genevieve Walch (Newark, Del.) (U18).
