The Blue Sticks will compete in Pool A at the Nations Cup against Japan; Korea; Malaysia; and New Zealand. Pool B has France; Ireland; South Africa; and USA.
Malaysia will be Scotland’s first game and they meet on Thursday 11 Jun at 11:15. Then on Friday 12 Jun at 18:00 New Zealand will be Scotland’s opponents before the Blue Sticks face Japan on Sunday 14 Jun at 13:45. Scotland’s final pool game will be on Tuesday 16 Jun at 13:30 against Korea, before the latter stages of the tournament.
The Blue Sticks are off the back of the FIH World Cup Qualifiers in Santiago, Chile, where they finished fifth gaining vital ranking points. The squad is building towards the EuroHockey Championship Qualifiers in Rome on 9-12 July. The Scots take on Turkey in the first match of a knockout tournament to qualify for the EuroHockey Championship in 2027.
