En tidigare offensiv linjeman för Tennessee Volunteers begärde att bli bortbytad tidigare i veckan och det tog mindre än två dagar innan hans önskan beviljades.
Earlier this week, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that former Tennessee Vols offensive lineman Wanya Morris had requested a trade from the Kansas City Chiefs.

Morris, who spent the first two seasons of his college career at Tennessee before transferring to Oklahoma, was selected by the Chiefs in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
The former Vol is in search of more playing time after falling down the depth chart in Kansas City.
It didn’t take long for Morris to get his wish.
Fowler reported on Thursday afternoon that Kansas City is trading Morris to the Atlanta Falcons.

Jordan Schultz reported that the Chiefs are sending Morris and a 2027 seventh round pick to Atlanta for a 2027 sixth round pick.
The Falcons were in need of an offensive tackle after placing swing tackle Storm Norton on the P.U.P. list on Thursday.
Morris started 16 games for the Chiefs during his three seasons in Kansas City.
The former Vol is going from a Super Bowl contender to a fringe playoff team. But it’s understandable in his situation. Morris turns 26 in October and is in the final season of his rookie contract. If he wants any chance to land a decent contract in free agency next offseason he needs an opportunity to play this fall.
